Job summary

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) Philippines seeks a Sr. Supply Chain Assistant in Manila to support the Head of Resource Management and the Supply Chain Officer in strategically implementing procurement, fleet, warehouse, asset, and facilities management.

The role ensures compliance with IOM's supply chain strategy and procedures, coordinating with stakeholders to deliver efficient humanitarian operations nationwide.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in procurement, fleet, warehousing, asset and facilities management.
• Experience in non-profit, UN, or humanitarian sectors is preferred.
• Ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and maintain systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing mission supply chain strategies and SOPs.
• Coordinate and maintain systems for procurement, supply, transport, documentation and storage.
• Execute medium to high-value procurements following established instructions.
• Oversee supply chain coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support procurement planning and timely recording of system commitments.
• Organize data collection, analysis, and reporting; prepare payment requests.
• Ensure insurance for mission assets and manage claims; update asset inventory.
• Monitor vendor database and performance documentation; file logistics documents.
• Provide guidance and training to direct reports; support KPI development and ethics.
