Job summary

Michael Page International Recruitment Philippines invites a Senior Supply Chain Planner to join our Makati City team in a full-time capacity. This role focuses on production planning, scheduling, and optimising the supply chain across procurement, production and distribution.

You will lead demand forecasting, manage inventories, and drive improvements using MRP/ERP systems and advanced Excel/data analysis skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration or related discipline.
• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in supply chain planning, production planning or related roles within manufacturing or logistics.
• Demonstrated expertise in demand forecasting, inventory management and MRP/ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, best practices and industry standards.
• Proficiency in supply chain planning software and tools, with advanced skills in MS Excel and data analysis.
• Proven track record of implementing process improvements that yielded cost savings or efficiency gains.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with ability to work with complex datasets.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments.
• Leadership experience with mentoring junior staff.
• Certification in supply chain management (APICS CSCP, DSCP or equivalent) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain supply chain plans and forecasts to support production schedules.
• Analyse demand patterns and inventory levels to optimise stock while minimising stockouts and excess.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics to align supply chain activities.
• Monitor and report on key metrics like lead times, cycle times, on-time delivery and turnover.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce costs and mitigate risks.
• Prepare demand forecasts and manage MRP systems to support production planning.
• Liaise with suppliers on lead times, quality standards and contracts.
• Escalate and resolve supply chain disruptions to minimise impact.
• Mentor and support junior planning staff and foster continuous improvement.
• Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance overall supply chain performance.

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Supply Chain Planner to join Michael Page International Recruitment Philippines in a full-time capacity, based in Makati City, Metro Manila. This is a strategic position within our Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics division, specifically focused on Production, Planning & Scheduling. As Senior Supply Chain Planner, you will play a crucial role in optimising our supply chain operations, ensuring seamless coordination between procurement, production, and distribution. This role offers the opportunity to drive efficiency improvements across our supply chain network and contribute directly to the organisation's operational excellence and financial performance.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and maintain comprehensive supply chain plans and forecasts to support production schedules and business objectives
• Analyse demand patterns and inventory levels to optimise stock holding whilst minimising stockouts and excess inventory
• Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure alignment of supply chain activities and timely delivery of materials
• Monitor and report on key supply chain metrics including lead times, cycle times, on-time delivery and inventory turnover
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce costs and mitigate risks
• Prepare demand forecasts and manage material requirements planning (MRP) systems to support production planning
• Liaise with suppliers to manage lead times, quality standards and contract compliance
• Escalate and resolve supply chain disruptions and constraints to minimise impact on production and customer delivery
• Mentor and support junior planning staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
• Participate in cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives to enhance overall supply chain performance

What we're looking for

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments and stakeholder groups
• Leadership experience with the ability to mentor junior staff and drive team performance
• Certification in supply chain management (APICS CSCP, DSCP or equivalent) is highly desirable
• Experience in a multinational or fast-paced manufacturing environment is preferred
