Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. in the Philippines seeks a seasoned Production/NP I supervisor to oversee production and NPI lots, manage direct labor, and drive efficiency. You will calibrate start-of-shift operations, monitor staff performance, and push quality initiatives.

The role requires coordinating with HR/IE/PC for resources, planning weekly/monthly schedules, and leading cross-training to meet capacity demands. Travel up to 25% may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, preferably Industrial/Manufacturing/Electronics.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing, semiconductor test/assembly.
• Experience supervising 30+ operators.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of capacity analysis and time study methodologies.
• Willing to shift schedules.
• Travel Time: 0% - 25%.

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Supervise movement of both Production and NPI lots under the assigned product line.
• Manage direct labor associated with Production and NPI lots
• Conduct start of the shift production calibration to cover critical announcement on delivery, quality and other issues
• Monitor performance of every personnel under his/her organization
• Identify, recommend and promote quality initiatives
• Perform and coordinate needed time and motion study with IE to align and update standards and capacity models.
• Maintain resource needs by working with relative parties like HR, PC and IE
• Plan, manage risk and implement production schedule and manpower deployment on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Develop flexibility and cross training programs for operators to support immediate need on capacity.
• Monitor, assess and improve weekly KPIs
• Support Factory 4.0 Program of the company
• Implement and support continous improvement program on delivery, quality and cost reduction.
• Adhere and implement company policies including guiding values and programs.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Engineering preferably Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing industry preferably in semiconductor test and assembly operations.
• Handled 30 operators or more
• Knowledgeable on Microsoft Office Applications
• Knowledgeable on capacity analysis and time study methodologies.
• Good attitude and excellent motivation to work
• Capable of shifting schedule.
