Job summary

S&B is seeking a Lead Subcontracts Representative for projects involving high-dollar, technically unique items or critical product lines. You will plan, schedule, and oversee Subcontracts Administrators and support staff, applying advanced subcontracting techniques and independent judgment.

The role interfaces with clients and directly influences cost containment and profitability. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of contractual terms, strong negotiation skills, and EPC project

Qualifications

• Understanding of contractual terms and conditions, including risk management.
• Proven ability to negotiate commercial terms and contract modifications.
• Preference for EPC project experience with major subcontracts.
• Experience with power plant systems and their interfaces.
• Extensive subcontracts management experience and project setup skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing the Project Subcontracting Plans and Procedures.
• Develop bidders lists and evaluate quotations.
• Negotiate prices and delivery terms with suppliers.
• Interface with engineering and project controls to align scope and cost.
• Represent subcontracts in client presentations and resolve escalated issues.
• Maintain supplier databases and ensure compliance with contract terms.
