Job summary

Cloudstaff is seeking a Sr. Structural Engineer to design, analyze, and document structural systems for diverse construction projects.

Working remotely from the Philippines, you will ensure Australian Standards compliance and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across time zones. You will prepare calculations and drawings, model structures with RFEM/ETABS and Revit, and support QA through peer reviews and design reviews.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or closely related discipline.
Master’s degree or postgraduate qualification in Structural Engineering is highly desirable.
Registered or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer is advantageous.
Membership with Engineers Australia or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

Design and analysis of building components including foundations, steel frames, reinforced concrete, timber structures.
Prepare detailed structural calculations and documentation per AS and NCC; model and optimise designs.
Produce drawings, specs and reports; ensure documentation complies with codes.
Coordinate with architects and other disciplines; support project lifecycle.
Conduct peer reviews and identify structure-related risks; ensure safety and quality.
