Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily tasks involved in design of facilities and structures.
• Under general supervision, perform all aspects of design which includes performing actual design tasks (conceptual, layout, and detail).
• Coordinate design and construction activities, studying, planning, programming, and various analyses.
• Perform calculations for design of structural members of concrete and steel, and organize data required for reports.
• Thoroughly check that details are within the design codes and requirements and that the overall drawings meet acceptable quality standards.

• Have vast knowledge of statics, strength of materials, finite element modeling, and building/structure systems.
