Job summary

ams OSRAM is seeking a seasoned manufacturing systems specialist to lead governance of SPC, YMS, and FDC across global sites. You will act as the technical SME for wafer fab quality systems, shaping architecture, automation strategy and long-term roadmaps.

You will manage complex incidents, perform root-cause analyses, and implement preventive actions to minimize production impact while coordinating with Production, IT and stakeholders on upgrades and integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing system support (preferably semiconductor/wafer fab).
• Strong expertise in SPC, YMS, FDC systems and SAP processes.

Responsibilities

Job description: Lead overall support and governance of SPC, YMS, and FDC systems across global sites (Asia & Europe). Oversee SAP booking event processes and ensure compliance with operational standards.

Act as technical subject matter expert (SME) for wafer fab quality and analysis systems. Drive system architecture improvements, automation strategy, and long-term technical roadmap. Lead complex incident management, root-cause analysis, and preventive action implementation for production-impacting issues.

Review and approve system enhancements, scripts, and interface developments. Collaborate with Production, IT, and global stakeholders on system upgrades, integration, and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure high availability, performance optimization, and risk mitigation for critical manufacturing systems.

Profile description: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in manufacturing system support (preferably semiconductor/wafer fab).
