Job summary
Hinge Health is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for the Care Interactions team. You will lead architecture, write production code, and mentor engineers focused on scalable care-delivery features and AI-assisted capabilities.
You will collaborate with product, design, clinical, and QA teams in a hybrid Bengaluru-based role, with collaboration across San Francisco and other offices. This position emphasizes reliability, safety, and high-trust healthcare environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of non-internship full-time software development experience.
- 4+ years of experience with at least one programming language.
- 4+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle.
- 3+ years of work with React JS and Node JS/TypeScript.
- 1+ years mentoring and leading junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Deliver large projects and maintain key code repositories.
- Break down complex problems for steady delivery and root-cause analysis.
- Roadmap and execute ambitious technical strategies with team.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide code reviews.
- Leverage AI technologies to automate processes and enhance features.
- Improve maintainability, availability, and performance of features.
