Acquire Intelligence is seeking a Senior Solutions Researcher (Team Lead) in Eastwood City, Quezon City. You will research ACA health plans, verify provider networks, and guide a growing team of researchers overnight from the Philippines.

You will train and review researchers, ensuring high-quality, well-documented results while maintaining strict confidentiality and audit trails. This is a hands-on, leadership-focused role with meaningful impact on U.S. healthcare access.

Qualifications

Professional experience in U.S. healthcare, health insurance, or related field.
Experience supervising, training, or reviewing others.
Strong online research with quality-control focus.
Excellent written and spoken English, including communication with U.S. providers.
Ability to follow detailed procedures and meet deadlines.
Willingness to work a fixed overnight schedule in Philippine Time.

Responsibilities

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR ROLE

As a Senior Solutions Researcher, you'll research U.S. Affordable Care Act (ACA) individual health insurance plans, verify provider networks and prescription drug formularies, and document your findings with precision. This work directly affects people's access to healthcare, so accuracy, thorough documentation, and compassionate service matter in everything you do.

Beyond your own casework, you'll help train, guide, and review the work of Solutions Researchers, serving as the team's first point of contact for research questions and escalated cases. This is a research and quality-control role, not a sales position: you won't be recommending plans or providing legal or medical advice.

What You'll Do

ACA Health Plan & Provider Network Research

Research U.S. ACA individual health insurance plans using approved carrier websites, provider directories, plan documents, government resources, and company-approved tools
Identify plans available within an applicant's state, county, ZIP code, and coverage year, and review plan documents for out-of-pocket limits, copayments, coinsurance, referral requirements, and other coverage details
Determine whether specific physicians, specialists, hospitals, clinics, laboratories, and pharmacies participate in a particular plan network, confirming the exact plan and network name rather than relying on the carrier name alone
Call insurance carriers and provider offices to verify information that's incomplete, inconsistent, or unclear online, and document the details of every verification call

Prescription Drug Formulary Research

Determine whether prescribed medications appear on a plan's current formulary, verifying drug name, dosage, form, and formulation
Document drug tiers and restrictions such as prior authorization, step therapy, quantity limits, or specialty-pharmacy requirements
Distinguish between brand-name and generic medications, and escalation unclear or conflicting formulary information

Documentation and Case Records

Create complete, well-organized research records with legible screenshots or PDFs showing the source, plan name, and research date
Write concise research summaries that allow another team member to reproduce and validate your findings
Maintain a complete audit trail for every material conclusion, and safeguard applicant and participant information in line with company privacy and confidentiality standards

Team Leadership and Quality Control

Train Solutions Researchers on plan research, provider-network verification, formulary research, telephone verification, and documentation procedures
Assign and prioritize research cases, review team output for accuracy and completeness, and return incomplete work with clear, constructive coaching

a Bit About You

Must-Haves

Professional experience in U.S. healthcare, health insurance, benefits administration, medical research, insurance operations, quality assurance, or a closely related field
Experience supervising, training, or reviewing the work of other employees
Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed online research using multiple sources, with strong quality-control skills and an eye for subtle discrepancies
Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate confidently with U.S. insurance carriers, healthcare providers, and internal teams, and to understand U.S. accents over the phone
Strong organizational, prioritization, and case-management skills, with the ability to follow detailed procedures and meet deadlines without sacrificing accuracy
Sound judgment on when to keep researching, verify by phone, or escalate a case
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, web browsers, PDFs, screenshots, and online research tools
Willingness to work a fixed overnight schedule, Monday to Friday, 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM Philippine Time (aligned to 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM U.S. Central Time), which shifts to 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM when the U.S. moves to Central Standard Time; occasional overtime may be required in the fourth quarter

Familiarity with insurance terms such as deductibles, copayments, coinsurance, out-of-pocket maximums, prior authorization, step therapy, and quantity limits
