Qualifications

• 15+ years in data engineering, data science, or pre-sales/consulting roles.
• 10+ years of experience with Big Data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Cassandra).
• Strong consulting and customer-facing experience with external clients.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the sales team to provide technical leadership for customers.
• Develop account strategies and execute them to solve business problems with Databricks.
• Consult on architectures and run proofs of concepts spanning data engineering, data science, ML, and SQL workflows.
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects to support customers and users.
• Promote and recruit contributors for Databricks open-source projects (Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow).
