Databricks seeks a seasoned Manager (Data & AI) for Technical Solutions Engineering to lead a regional team of Data & AI specialists. The role focuses on resiliency, production workload optimization, and 24x7 coverage through global collaboration.

You will drive adoption of Databricks products and ensure reliable, scalable solutions for live customer workloads. You will partner with engineering and sales, mentor teams, and influence product direction while maintaining excellent customer

Qualifications

3+ years as a manager
10+ years in IT with software engineering/Data Engineering
Experience leading teams in engineering, technical support, or consulting; customer facing experience desirable
Hands-on in production-scale: Spark, Hadoop, Kafka; ML/AI projects; Data Science/Streaming
Spark expertise is a big advantage
Strong customer-facing support leadership background
Excellent troubleshooting across distributed systems
Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science or equivalent technical field

Responsibilities

Lead regional Data & AI technical solutions engineering team for APJ/EMEA with 24x7 coverage
Grow team technical expertise to support Databricks platform adoption
Engage with top customers to support business needs with Data & AI strategy
Partner with product engineering to improve Databricks products
Maintain high reliability of the Databricks platform to meet customer goals
