Job summary

NCS Group in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to lead and shape technical strategy across projects. You will create documentation, review architectures, and ensure alignment with security and scalability requirements.

You will mentor teams, collaborate with stakeholders, evaluate new technologies, and contribute to process improvements. A cloud certification and strong API/microservices background are required.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge and extensive experience in software development with API and SDK familiarity.
• Proficiency in PHP, Java, Python, and .NET.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Strong architecture design principles and methodologies.
• Expertise in API design and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns is a plus.
• Web services: SOAP, REST, JSON, XML.
• Familiarity with integration protocols like SMPP, UCP, HTTP.
• Version control experience (Git).
• Debugging and performance optimization skills.
• Ability to document using Confluence, Jira, Asana, Trello.
• Cloud computing technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) with any cloud certification.
• Awareness of TOGAF and Zachman is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design documents, and implementation guidelines.
• Conduct architecture reviews to mitigate risk and ensure adherence to approved solutions.
• Review code, designs, and deliverables for alignment with architectural principles and quality standards.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to drive consensus on technical solutions.
• Participate in training, design, documentation, and delivery efforts with the Project Manager.
• Design long-term strategic goals and short-term tactical plans to manage technology and software.
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies to recommend optimal solutions and drive improvement.
• Assist SA team with SA related tasks.
• Contribute to initiatives to increase skills, quality & efficiency for the SA team.
• Participate in process standardization and/or improvement on SA-related tasks.
