Job summary

Aon is seeking a senior professional to transition from hands-on development to a full Solution Architect role in the Philippines. You will design applications with Enterprise Architects and product teams, ensuring high availability and strategic alignment.

With 10+ years in Java and architecture, you will guide delivery teams, document architectures, and drive cloud-based solutions across platforms like AWS/Azure/GCP while mentoring engineers and maintaining standards.

Qualifications

10+ years Java development experience.
10+ years in solution architecture or systems design.
6+ years with Spring Boot, Angular or React, and Groovy.
Experience with Gradle or Maven and APIs/integration patterns.
Cloud migration experience and scalable cloud architectures.

Responsibilities

Initially gain hands-on development experience and shadow architects to learn domain, system, and ecosystem knowledge.
Align solution architecture with business goals and standards.
Advise Product and Delivery teams on architectural decisions and best practices.
Create and update solution architecture documentation and diagrams.
Research emerging technologies and assess relevance to current and future solutions.
Translate business requirements into effective technical architectures and end-to-end solutions.
Design and oversee implementation of integrated solutions and maintain architecture repos.
Evaluate and select tech solutions to meet business needs; manage risk, cost and quality.
Model business and system processes with diagrams; participate in test planning.
Mentor delivery team members and support capacity planning.
