Job summary

Grab is seeking a Senior Solution Specialist for People Systems to elevate Workday solutions across Compensation and Core HCM. You will serve as the subject matter expert, configure processes, support changes, and drive ongoing improvements with a focus on scalable, accurate data.

Based onsite in Manila, you will partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, design effective solutions, and ensure user adoption through clear procedures and training.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Workday experience with Core HCM and Compensation.
• Experience with at least 1–2 Advanced Compensation cycles.
• Hands-on Workday configuration, business processes, testing, and UAT.
• Experience with Workday reporting, analytics, EIB, and security administration.
• Experience in requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, and solution design.

Responsibilities

• Be the subject matter expert for Compensation and Core HCM processes and solutions.
• Support change requests, enhancements, and issue resolution across Workday modules.
• Perform configuration, security management, complex report configuration, and bulk data processing.
• Manage system life cycles by reviewing, testing, and implementing new features and releases.
• Gather requirements, identify gaps, and recommend solutions meeting needs.
• Drive process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency.

Get to know the Role

We are looking for a Senior Solution Specialist, People Systems to enhance Workday solutions across Compensation and Core HCM. You will be the subject matter expert for these areas, partner with stakeholders to solve system and process issues, and help deliver scalable, effective People Systems solutions. This role is ideal for someone with strong Workday functional knowledge, hands‑on configuration experience, and the ability to support continuous improvement across People processes.

This role will be reporting to the Solution Manager II, People Systems and will be based onsite at our Manila office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Be the subject matter expert for Compensation and Core HCM processes and solutions
• Support change requests, enhancements, and issue resolution across Workday modules
• Perform essential system administration functions, including configuration, security management, complex report configuration, and bulk data processing.
• Manage system life cycles by assisting in the review, testing, and implementation of new features, fixes, and releases.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify gaps, and recommend solutions that meet our needs.
• Drive process improvement and innovative solutions, proactively identifying opportunities for automation to enhance organizational efficiency.
• Develop user procedures, guidelines, documentation, and training to ensure effective adoption of new processes and functionality.

The must haves skills

• 5+ years of Workday experience with strong hands‑on knowledge of Core HCM and Compensation.
• Experience supporting at least 1–2 Advanced Compensation cycles or launches.
• Experience with Workday configuration, business processes, testing, and UAT.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Workday reporting, analytics, EIB, and security administration.
• Experience in requirements gathering, fit‑gap analysis, and solution design.

Really nice to have skills

• Workday Pro certification in Core HCM, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Reporting, or other relevant Workday modules.
• Experience leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to improve productivity, analysis, and solution delivery.
• Experience in additional Workday modules such as Recruiting, Security, Peakon, or Journeys.
• Experience supporting change management, training, or release readiness activities.
• Experience working with regional or cross‑functional stakeholders in a complex organisation.
• Knowledge of audit and data privacy requirements in enterprise systems.
