Job summary

Orium is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our remote-first team working with enterprise commerce solutions. You will collaborate with designers, PMs, and clients to shape digital experiences that reach thousands daily.

Leverage composable architecture, modern frameworks, and AI-assisted tools to accelerate development while maintaining quality, security, and scalable code. This role reports to the Manager of Software Development and emphasizes mentoring and hands-on coding.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a full‑stack JS developer
• Experience with eCommerce or retail POS/OMS systems
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks
• Excellent client-facing communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Mentor developers and design high‑quality project work
• Collaborate with Designers and Product Managers in Agile planning
• Maintain transparency with stakeholders on progress and risks
• Create clear documentation and diagrams for clients and teammates
• Engage directly with clients to refine requirements and respond professionally
• Write clean, well‑documented code following best practices
• Participate in code reviews to ensure scalable codebases
• Leverage AI-powered tools to boost velocity and quality
• Explore automation and AI integration in workflows
• Contribute to internal AI adoption and share learnings with the team
