Job description

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will collaborate with the IT Business Analyst and IT Project Manager to comprehend requirements and work closely with the Senior Architect and other Engineers to implement solutions. Additionally, the responsibilities will include documenting solutions, designs, and creating user-friendly guides.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using a mix of technologies including .NET C#, Web API (REST), React, Node.js, NPM, Swagger, Redis Cache, jQuery, SQL Server, and Azure Cloud services, selected based on the specific needs of each project.

• Work closely with business stakeholders and other IT team members to understand requirements and implement appropriate solutions.

• Develop and maintain Unit Tests and Integration Tests.

• Conduct code reviews and write design tasks.

• Adhere to software development methodologies, version control (Git), Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipeline, and migration standards.

Basic Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with fluency in English.

• At least six years of experience in software development, specifically with .NET C# and Microsoft SQL Server.

• Two or more years of experience working with jQuery or a modern equivalent such as React.

• At least two years of hands-on experience with React, Node.js, and NPM.

• Proficient in using development tools such as Postman, Chrome Developer Tools, Fiddler, Visual Studio 2017+, and SQL Management Studio.

• Two or more years of experience with Git for version control.

• Experience with Azure Cloud services.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.

• Strong team player with a proactive thinking approach, providing solutions and possessing excellent troubleshooting skills.

Other Job Requirements

• Candidate must be willing to work during U.S. business hours, primarily from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM ET.

• Candidate is expected to follow the client holiday calendar, rather than local or regional holidays, to ensure appropriate coverage during the client’s working hours.

• Candidate must have a high-speed internet connection of at least 10 Mbps to support remote work.
