Job summary

Blueberry seeks an experienced Senior Engineer for its Engage squad in Taguig, Manila. You will work across the full stack, from backend services to React frontend, impacting customer retention and business growth.

Expect collaboration with product, design, and engineering, mentoring peers, and raising technical standards while staying hands-on with code. You’ll own features end-to-end, contribute to architecture, and help evolve engineering practices in a fast-paced fintech/engagement

That's exactly what the Engage squad is responsible for. As a Senior Engineer, you'll help build the products our customers and partners interact with long after they create an account. From our client portal and trading platforms to partner systems, mobile experiences, and communication tools, you'll be solving real product problems that directly impact customer retention and business growth. This isn't a role where you'll be confined to one layer of the stack. You'll move between backend services and frontend experiences, working alongside product, design, and engineering to build software that's secure, scalable, and genuinely enjoyable to use. You'll also help raise the technical bar across the team, mentoring engineers and influencing architectural decisions while still staying hands-on with code. Note: At Blueberry, moving with purpose means showing up, connecting, and building momentum together. This role is based onsite in Taguig, Manila, Monday to Friday, where collaboration happens best.

Description: We're looking for an experienced Senior Engineer to join our Engage squad, where you'll build and improve the products that shape the customer experience after onboarding. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you'll work across the full stack to deliver secure, high-quality software powering our client portal, trading platforms, communication channels, retention initiatives, and partner ecosystem. You'll take ownership of features from concept to production, collaborate closely with Product Owners and Designers, and contribute to the technical direction of the squad. How You'll Make an Impact

Product Development & Feature Ownership

• Own features from technical design through deployment and ongoing improvements.
• Build and enhance customer-facing products across the client portal, trading platforms, retention experiences, communication tools, and partner ecosystem.
• Deliver scalable, maintainable solutions across both backend services and React-based frontend applications.
