Job summary

Alegeus seeks a Senior Software Engineer to drive our technology vision and tackle complex fintech challenges in a collaborative, fast‑moving environment.

You will build high‑volume, transactional SaaS web apps using C#, ASP.NET, and Azure, participate in design to deployment, and mentor teammates while promoting best practices in security and coding. Occasional on‑call rotations and travel up to 15% are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field is required.
• 3+ years of software development in web applications using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, RESTful services.
• Experience with Azure cloud, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.
• Strong SQL Server/T-SQL and performance tuning skills.
• Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain scalable, secure SaaS applications within a Scrum team.
• Collaborate with engineers, QA, and product owners to improve code quality and productivity.
• Translate user stories into technical designs and document specifications.
• Mentor teammates and promote best practices in coding, security, and development processes.
• Support on-call rotations and production deployments to ensure platform reliability.
• Occasional travel up to 15% for events, workshops, and conferences.

• Abilities: Extensive experience developing high‑volume, transactional SaaS web applications with strong expertise in T‑SQL, SQL Server performance tuning, and Agile methodologies; preferred background includes .NET 8.0+, ASP.NET Web API, LINQ, Dapper, Test Driven Development, real‑time financial systems, automated unit testing, and business modeling using UML and use cases.
• Experience: 3+ years of software development experience with deep expertise in web application development using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, RESTful services, MS SQL Server/T‑SQL, Pub/Sub, and object‑oriented design, along with hands‑on experience in Azure cloud solutions, Kubernetes environments, and microservices architecture.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related discipline is required. Master's degree preferred.
• Location: Alegeus to fill out based on role/remove where not needed.

The posted salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for this position’s compensation grade and represents a blended range across our three hub locations: Florida, Massachusetts, and Wisconsin. Within this range, individual compensation is determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to job‑related skills, experience, and education. This range may also be adjusted based on geographic location and market conditions. In addition to base salary, total compensation may include bonuses, incentive plans, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Position Compensation Range:

$88,000.00 - $1,49,900.00
