Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a senior leader to define the strategic direction for Managed Detection & Response as a managed service. You will grow the pipeline by collaborating with internal and external channels and identify pull-through opportunities for other managed services.

You will lead investigations for complex security incidents, orchestrate response, and guide SOC processes to ensure timely detection and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years leading enterprise security operations or MDR teams.
• Experience as an L3 SOC analyst, threat hunting and incident response.
• Knowledge of on-prem, hybrid and cloud security concepts.
• Certifications such as CEH, GIAC, OSCP, CREST, GCIH, GPEN are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and define the strategic direction for MDR as a managed service.
• Grow pipeline by collaborating with internal and external channels.
• Identify pull-through opportunities for other managed services and consulting.
• Investigate and orchestrate for complex/high-severity security events.
• Lead incident response orchestration with clients and guide SOC processes.
