Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Cyber Security Operations Centre (SOC) Senior Consultant in Manila to monitor, detect and respond to threats across client environments. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to strengthen cyber resilience and deliver value to clients.

You will triage alerts, investigate incidents, develop detection rules, and collaborate with IT and security stakeholders to improve security controls. Strong communication, analytical and client-facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, cybersecurity, IT, or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in cyber security operations, monitoring, or incident response.
• Knowledge of cyber security principles, attack techniques, network and endpoint security, and IR processes.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, NDR, IDS/IPS, firewalls, cloud security or threat intel.
• Experience investigating security alerts and documenting findings.
• Familiarity with NIST/NIST IR guidance or MITRE ATT&CK is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, communication and teamwork skills, with client-facing ability.
• Certifications such as Security+, CEH, GCIH, GCIA, CISSP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and triage security alerts across networks, endpoints, cloud and apps.
• Investigate incidents, assess impact and support root cause analysis.
• Support incident response activities, including containment, eradication, recovery and post-incident review.
• Operate and maintain security technologies including SIEM, SOAR, EDR, NDR, IDS/IPS, firewalls.
• Develop and tune detection rules, use cases, playbooks and alerting logic.
• Perform threat analysis and correlate information to identify risks.
• Collaborate with client, IT and cyber security stakeholders to resolve incidents and improve controls.
• Prepare incident records, reports, procedures and knowledge documentation.
• Recommend improvements to monitoring and incident response processes.
