Job summary

Deloitte Southeast Asia is seeking a Cyber Security Operations Centre Senior Consultant in Manila to monitor, detect and respond to security threats across client environments. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to strengthen client cyber resilience and manage security operations end-to-end.

The role requires 8–12 years in cyber security, hands-on experience with SIEM, SOAR, EDR and related tools, plus strong analytical and communication skills for client-facing work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, IT or related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in cyber security operations or related role.
• Strong knowledge of cyber security principles and attack techniques.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, NDR, IDS/IPS and cloud security tools.
• Familiarity with NIST, MITRE ATT&CK frameworks is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical, communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and triage security alerts across networks, endpoints, cloud environments and applications.
• Investigate incidents, assess impact and perform root-cause analysis.
• Support incident response activities including containment and recovery.
• Operate security technologies (SIEM, SOAR, EDR, NDR, IDS/IPS, firewalls, cloud security).
• Develop detection rules, playbooks and alert logic.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve incidents and improve security controls.
• Prepare incident records and operational reports.
• Lead by example; seek development opportunities and empower others.
