Job summary

Bentleys is seeking an experienced SMSF Senior Accountant in the Philippines to lead the preparation of SMSF financial statements, tax returns, and BAS/IAS using BGL360.

You will lodge TBARs, monitor deadlines, and liaise with the Australian team to resolve audit issues while mentoring junior staff and supporting offshore operations. Strong English and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in business services and Australian tax accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or management accounting.
• Strong knowledge of BGL360 and common accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare SMSF financial statements, tax returns, and BAS/IAS using BGL360.
• Lodge TBARs and monitor SMSF lodgement deadlines.
• Mentor junior accountants and act as offshore contact for Australian team.
• Liaise with Australian team on queries and review notes; manage client correspondence.
