Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is hiring a Senior ServiceNow Developer to design, build, and optimize solutions across ITSM, ITOM, and related modules on the ServiceNow platform.

You will translate requirements into scalable technical solutions and collaborate with global teams to deliver continual improvements. The role requires hands-on development across modules, strong scripting skills, and experience with architecture decisions in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development across multiple modules.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and REST APIs.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow architecture, scripting, governance, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Build items and tasks using workflows to meet business requirements.
• Participate in architecture and design decisions.
• Mentor and support other developers.
• Document requirements, processes, and use cases.
• Configure data integrations between ServiceNow and other systems.
• Design and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, and ACLs.
• Work on Service Portal / Employee Center layouts, widgets, and menus.
• Create and configure Notifications, UI Pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, and related components.
• Perform operational admin tasks and assist with reports.
