Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in the Philippines is seeking a hands-on Test Engineer to develop, debug, validate, and release automated test programs for semiconductor products using ATE. You will collaborate with product, design, and manufacturing teams to enable new product introductions and manufacturing efficiency.

The role requires at least 5 years in semiconductor test development, strong C/C++ and Java skills, and experience with Teradyne Nextest Magnum and Advantest V93000 SmarTest.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics/ Electrical/ Computer Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years in semiconductor test development or ATE test engineering.
• Hands-on test program development with C/C++, Java, Unix or similar.
• Experience with ATE equipment such as Teradyne Nextest Magnum and Advantest SmarTest is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, debug, validate, and release ATE test programs for semiconductor products.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex test-related issues to ensure product quality and efficiency.
• Design and optimize test methodologies to improve coverage, yield, and cost.
• Analyze analog and digital circuits, review schematics, and support test hardware development.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Software, and Manufacturing teams throughout the lifecycle.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends and drive yield improvements.
• Prepare technical reports and release packages for production.
• Mentor junior engineers in test engineering practices.
