Job summary

Teradyne Asia Pte Ltd is seeking a highly motivated Test Application Engineer for our SEG Field Applications team in the Philippines. You will develop test applications for semiconductor devices on Teradyne ATE platforms, debug and deploy solutions, and collaborate with global teams to ensure on-time delivery of critical milestones.

The role requires 7–10 years in test/product engineering with a strong background in test development, plus programming experience in C# .NET or VBA and knowledge of

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
• 7-10 years of test/product engineering experience in digital, high power device testing and with at least 5yrs test development background preferred.
• Programming experience on Teradyne or other ATE platforms. Experience on UltraFLEX or UltraFLEXPlus is a plus.
• Being proficient in C# .NET or VBA is an advantage
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and your native language.
• Willing to travel 30% of time when required to.
• Able to handle dynamic work environment with pressure and quick changes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, debug, and deploy test solutions for semiconductor devices on Teradyne ATE platforms.
• Supporting test program correlations and release to production activities.
• Optimize existing test solutions for yield and throughput.
• Troubleshooting of test issues and improving test methodologies.
• Provide on-site support to customers using Teradyne ATE.
• Collect customer needs and requests, communicate to internal engineering team to develop new solutions for customers.
• Work within the support of our worldwide application teams to coordinate project development and on time delivery of critical project milestones.
