Job summary

Orient Freight International Inc. in Makati City is seeking an Assistant Manager – Exports to oversee the daily operation of export customer service and documentation, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant handling for all accounts.

You will lead the Export CS/Docs Team, drive service excellence, monitor performance, and push process improvements while coordinating with customers, carriers, and internal units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related field.
• 4–6 years’ experience in freight forwarding/export operations or customer service.
• Knowledge of export processes and documentation; MS Office proficiency; carrier management.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Export CS/Docs team with coaching and performance monitoring.
• Oversee end-to-end export processes including booking, documentation, shipment monitoring, and billing.
• Act as escalation point for operational or service-related issues and maintain relationships with customers, agents, carriers, and internal teams.
• Identify operational gaps and implement corrective actions; support continuous improvement within the Seafreight Division.
• Oversee and validate billing and cost approvals; monitor KPIs and prepare operational reports.
