Job summary

Amaris Consulting is seeking a Senior SAP Functional Expert - PP & MM to join our international Supply Chain Planning practice in Barcelona. You will design, implement and optimize SAP-based processes covering production planning, detailed scheduling and industrial purchasing for global clients.

Lead PP/DS and MM scopes, translate business needs into architecture and technical designs, configure and support SAP S/4HANA, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions

Qualifications

• 7+ years of ERP delivery in multinational environments.
• Experience implementing SAP S/4HANA MM and PP modules.
• Experience with embedded SAP S/4HANA PP/DS (Manufacturing for Planning and Scheduling).
• Strong configuration, troubleshooting, and decision when to use configuration vs. code.
• Knowledge of architecture, agile methods, and Kinaxis Maestro is a plus.
• Master’s degree or equivalent in IT, CS, or Supply Chain.
• English fluent; Spanish or French a plus.

• Perform functional and technical architecture analysis for ERP planning functionalities.
• Lead the Production Planning scope, including data integrations and PP/DS activities.
• Manage the Materials Management scope related to industrial purchasing processes.
• Contribute to architecture reviews, roadmap, and product strategy in Supply Chain Planning.

• Configure, implement, and support SAP S/4HANA in line with development standards.
• Support dev teams by resolving blockers and managing interdependencies.

Join Amaris Consulting remotely as an Senior SAP Functional Expert - PP & MM and contribute to high-impact digital transformation projects within the Supply Chain Planning scope. You will join an international and dynamic environment, supporting ERP planning solutions and helping design, implement, and improve SAP-based processes across production planning, detailed scheduling, and industrial purchasing.

Your missions

• Perform functional and technical architecture analysis, research, design, and development of ERP planning functionalities within an SAP ecosystem.
• Lead the Production Planning scope, including data integrations and embedded PP/DS activities.
• Manage the Materials Management scope related to industrial purchasing processes.
• Contribute to architecture design reviews, product roadmap definition, and product strategy within the Supply Chain Planning area.
• Translate business requirements into documented architecture solutions, functional specifications, and technical design documents.
• Configure, implement, and support SAP S/4HANA solutions in line with product development standards.
• Support development teams by resolving blocking issues, managing interdependencies, and providing architecture and design guidance.
• Ensure end-to-end process integration and consistency across operational, statutory, and legal requirements.

Your profile

• 7+ years of experience in ERP delivery within a business-oriented context and international environment.
• Experience in implementing and maintaining Supply Chain Planning in SAP ERP, with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA, MM, PP, and a solid understanding of SD processes.
• Experience with embedded SAP S/4HANA PP/DS, also known as SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing for Planning and Scheduling, is highly desirable.
• Solid configuration expertise, troubleshooting skills, and ability to determine when to use configuration or code.
• Knowledge of application and technology architecture, agile ways of working, and Kinaxis Maestro is a plus.
• Master’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• English fluent. Spanish or French is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to structure complex problems and formulate clear solution proposals.
• Excellent communication skills, adaptability, autonomy, and ability to work effectively under pressure and deadlines.
