Job summary

BSA Solutions Outsourcing Inc. is seeking an Applications Developer in Cebu City to design, develop, test, and support software within the client’s SAP landscape.

You will contribute to enhancements, interfaces, reports, forms, and custom programs using ABAP, Fiori, cloud, and mobile platforms. The role involves collaboration with analysts, business stakeholders, and external partners across the software lifecycle to deliver scalable SAP solutions that improve business processes and enterprise

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MIS/CS or related field required.
• Strong technical aptitude and general IT principles knowledge.
• 3+ years in a technical IT operations role.
• Experience in SAP ECC 6.0 or SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Proficiency in ABAP development: Data Dictionary, Reports, Function Modules, OO ABAP, Module Pool.
• Experience with User Exits, BADIs, Enhancement Framework.
• Experience in SAP forms (Adobe Forms, SmartForms, SAPscript).
• Experience troubleshooting SAP apps and OSS Notes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze functional requirements and translate into technical designs and specs.
• Design, develop, test, implement, maintain SAP applications and enhancements.
• Develop SAP solutions using ABAP, Fiori, cloud, and mobile tech.
• Create and support SAP integrations via interfaces, RFCs, IDocs, and APIs.
• Develop accurate work estimates and support project planning.
• Perform unit testing and assist with UAT for solution quality.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, implement fixes.
• Optimize performance and ensure adherence to SAP standards.
• Collaborate with analysts, project managers, infrastructure, and business users.
• Prepare technical documentation and architecture diagrams.
• Participate in code reviews and promote best practices.
• Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve scalability.
• Stay current on SAP tech and propose improvements.
