Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. in Metro Manila (Pasig) is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our delivery team and help implement robust SAP solutions for our global clients.

You will work on ABAP RICEF objects, CDS/AMDP, and SAP S/4HANA projects, applying strong analytical thinking and ensuring on-time delivery within a hybrid workplace. A Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of SAP ABAP experience are required.

• 8+ years’ SAP ABAP development experience.
• Experience in CDS/AMDP and SAP S/4.
• ABAP RICEF and workflow implementation experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand end-user requirements by coordinating with Business Analyst/Functional Analyst/Consultant and seek clarification to provide the best solution.
• Coordinate with SAP modules specialists to ensure a consistent experience for users on the client side.
• Provide documentation as Technical Specifications for SAP process changes.
• Support ABAP WRICEF within the project and document it.
• Write ABAP code based on Functional Specifications and perform regular development tests.
• Stay updated with SAP development advances and self-train to adapt to changes.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand the requirements of the end-users by coordinating with the Business Analyst / Functional Analyst / Consultant and seek clarification in order to provide the best possible solution.
• Coordinating and consulting the Business Analyst / Functional Analyst / Consultant who is in-charge in SAP modules such as SAP FI/CO, MM, PS, SD, REFX and Business Analytics to ensure a consistent experience to the various users on the client's side.
• Providing documentation in the form of Technical Specification for every change or modification in SAP Processes.
• Support all assigned ABAP WRICEF within the project and provide technical documentation of it
• Writing the code using ABAP programming language on the basis of the Functional Specification from Business Analyst / Functional Analyst / Consultant and blueprint provided by the end-users and performing regular tests in development client on the usability of the code.
• Ensuring that all programs are completed in schedule as per the provided timeline and allocating appropriate man-days required in the development.
• Providing technical support to the end users in the form of troubleshooting during system defect and error and modifications to the system after it has been delivered.
• To stay updated with the latest technological advancement and changes in the world of SAP development and adapting to these changes by self-training and research work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree graduate
• Has at least 8 years’ experience in SAP ABAP
• Experience in the field of programming and Object-oriented programming.
• Experience in CDS/AMDP
• Must have ABAP RICEF experience
• Should have ABAP Workflow implementation experience
• Must have good analytical and problem-solving skills in order to carry out their daily functions effectively.
• With at least one full cycle implementation of SAP S/4(On-prem/Cloud)
• ABAP HR/SF is a plus
• ABAP Certification is a plus
