Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP developer to join our team in a hybrid work environment in the Philippines. You will design and implement ABAP solutions, customize SAP modules, and collaborate with business analysts to deliver robust ABAP WRICEF objects.

The role requires at least 4 years in SAP ABAP, knowledge of OO programming, and familiarity with S/4HANA. Enterprise-level certifications are preferred, and the candidate should be comfortable working across FI/CO, MM, PS, SD,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computer Science or related field.
• Enterprise application certifications preferred.
• Certification in one functional area of application preferred.

Responsibilities

• Write ABAP code based on Functional Specification and blueprint provided by end-users and perform testing.
• Clarify requirements with Business Analyst / Consultant to deliver best possible solution.
• Coordinate with SAP module experts (FI/CO, MM, PS, SD, REFX, BI) for consistent user experience.
• Provide Technical Specifications for SAP process changes or modifications.
• Support ABAP WRICEF and deliver technical documentation.
• Ensure programs meet schedule and allocate man-days accordingly.
• Provide end-user support and troubleshooting after delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Writing the code using ABAP programming language on the basis of the Functional Specification from Business Analyst / Functional Analyst / Consultant and blueprint provided by the end-users and performing regular tests in development client on the usability of the code.
• Understand the requirements of the end-users by coordinating with the Business Analyst / Functional Analyst / Consultant and seek clarification in order to provide the best possible solution.
• Coordinating and consulting the Business Analyst / Functional Analyst / Consultant who is in-charge in SAP modules such as SAP FI/CO, MM, PS, SD, REFX and Business Analytics to ensure a consistent experience to the various users on the client's side.
• Providing documentation in the form of Technical Specification for every change or modification in SAP Processes.
• Support all assigned ABAP WRICEF within the project and provide technical documentation of it
• Ensuring that all programs are completed in schedule as per the provided timeline and allocating appropriate man-days required in the development.
• Providing technical support to the end users in the form of troubleshooting during system defect and error and modifications to the system after it has been delivered.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computer Science or related field.
• Enterprise application-specific certifications preferred.
• Certification in one functional area of application preferred.

Required experience

• Bachelor’s degree graduate
• Has at least 4 years’ experience in SAP ABAP
• Experience in the field of ABAP programming and Object-oriented programming.
• Must have ABAP RICEF experience
• Should have ABAP Workflow implementation experience
• With at least one full cycle implementation of SAP S/4(On-prem/Cloud)
• ABAP HR/SF is a plus
• ABAP Certification is a plus
• Experience in CDS/AMDP is a plus
