Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP professional with a strong background in RICEF, Workflow, and S/4HANA to join our hybrid team in the Philippines. You will design, develop, and support ABAP-based solutions aligned with business requirements.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of SAP ABAP experience, OO programming skills, and a proactive approach to learning new SAP technologies. Hybrid working arrangement and ongoing professional growth are highlighted in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree graduate.
• 8+ years of SAP ABAP experience.
• Experience in Object-oriented programming and CDS/AMDP.
• ABAP RICEF experience.
• ABAP Workflow implementation experience.
• At least one full cycle SAP S/4 (On-prem/Cloud).
• ABAP HR/SF is a plus; ABAP Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand end-user requirements via Business Analyst / Functional Analyst / Consultant and seek clarification to provide the best possible solution.
• Coordinate with SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, PS, SD, REFX and Business Analytics) to ensure a consistent experience for users on the client side.
• Provide documentation in the form of Technical Specifications for changes or modifications in SAP processes.
• Support all ABAP WRICEF within the project and provide technical documentation of it.
• Write code using ABAP per Functional Specifications and test in development client on usability.
• Ensure all programs are completed on schedule and allocate man-days for development.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot defects post-delivery and modifications to the system.
• Stay updated with SAP developments via self-training and research.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand the requirements of the end-users by coordinating with the Business Analyst / Functional Analyst / Consultant and seek clarification in order to provide the best possible solution.
• Coordinating and consulting the Business Analyst / Functional Analyst / Consultant who is in-charge in SAP modules such as SAP FI/CO, MM, PS, SD, REFX and Business Analytics to ensure a consistent experience to the various users on the client's side.
• Providing documentation in the form of Technical Specification for every change or modification in SAP Processes.
• Support all assigned ABAP WRICEF within the project and provide technical documentation of it
• Writing the code using ABAP programming language on the basis of the Functional Specification from Business Analyst / Functional Analyst / Consultant and blueprint provided by the end-users and performing regular tests in development client on the usability of the code.
• Ensuring that all programs are completed in schedule as per the provided timeline and allocating appropriate man-days required in the development.
• Providing technical support to the end users in the form of troubleshooting during system defect and error and modifications to the system after it has been delivered.
• To stay updated with the latest technological advancement and changes in the world of SAP development and adapting to these changes by self-training and research work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree graduate
• Has at least 8 years’ experience in SAP ABAP
• Experience in the field of programming and Object-oriented programming.
• Experience in CDS/AMDP
• Must have ABAP RICEF experience
• Should have ABAP Workflow implementation experience
• Must have good analytical and problem-solving skills in order to carry out their daily functions effectively.
• With at least one full cycle implementation of SAP S/4(On-prem/Cloud)
• ABAP HR/SF is a plus
• ABAP Certification is a plus
