Job summary

NTT DATA Asia Pacific is seeking an Enterprise Applications Consultant/Implementation Specialist to gather client requirements, design solutions, and implement enterprise applications such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft.

The role covers planning, design, implementation, testing, and documentation, with occasional project-management duties on smaller projects in a hybrid working environment.

Your day at NTT DATAThe Enterprise Applications Consultant/ Implementation Specialist brings subject matter expertise in one or more enterprise applications such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, etc.

This role is required to perform most of the tasks defined by the project, gathering facts, analyzing client requirements and designing solutions that demonstrate the functionality to support the findings.

This role participates in the planning, design and implementation for the assigned enterprise applications and/or systems.

This role is responsible for testing and troubleshooting the functionality of the installed enterprise applications and/or systems by identifying and documenting technical issues to be escalated to product and system integration teams for resolution.

Key responsibilities:

• Works on strategic project tasks and managed services.
• Engages with clients to gather facts and analyze business requirements, including process.
• Participates in the design the solution and demonstrates functional to support the findings.
• Engages timely and provide quality consulting to the client.
• Assists in the technical preparation of business process workflows and procedures.
• Sets up test scenarios and assist clients in testing cycles.
• Prepares end-user documentation and user manuals.
• Performs the project management role on smaller projects aligned with accepted project management principles.
• Supports peers and teams in specific areas of a project, such as functional testing, application configuration, data migration.
• Participates in delivery projects, supporting the lifecycle of EA projects.
• Executes functional testing of assigned applications.
• Participates in discussions around process design and configuration.

Academic qualifications and certifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computer Science or related field.
• Enterprise application-specific certifications preferred.
• Certification in one functional area of application preferred.

Required experience:

• Seasoned demonstrated Enterprise Applications Consultant experience in one or more applications (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, etc.).
• Seasoned demonstrated experience working across project lifecycles from scoping to post go-live.
• Seasoned demonstrated experienced in providing technical guidance for the planning, design implementation of enterprise applications.
• Seasoned demonstrated client engagement experience.
