Job summary

MicroSourcing in the Philippines is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to design, build, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions. You will own technical design, implement Apex, LWC, and integrations, and mentor teammates in a fast-paced offshore delivery environment.

You'll collaborate with Australia-based stakeholders, ensure code quality through CI/CD and Git, and help optimize data models, security, and governor limits while delivering reliable production support.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in hands-on Salesforce development with Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, and Flows.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce data and security model, governor limits.
• Experience owning technical design and end-to-end delivery, plus CI/CD knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, unit test Apex classes, LWC, Visualforce if needed, and declarative solutions.
• Own technical design of Salesforce features with scalable approaches.
• Build and maintain Salesforce automation using Flows, validation rules, and Page Layouts.
• Develop, support, and troubleshoot integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware.
• Translate user stories into technical solutions with BAs and Team Leads.
• Maintain high code quality through reviews, Git, and CI/CD deployments.
• Manage deployments across Salesforce environments and release processes.
• Investigate and resolve defects, perform root cause analysis, provide production support.
• Maintain technical docs for custom development, integrations, and data model changes.
• Monitor governor limits and API usage, identify scalability risks, mentor juniors.

Your Role:

As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will:

• Design, develop, and unit test Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce pages, and declarative Salesforce solutions.

• Own the technical design of Salesforce features by evaluating declarative versus custom development approaches while considering platform limitations and scalability.

• Build and maintain Salesforce automation using Flows, validation rules, page layouts, permission sets, and Process Builder migrations.

• Develop, support, and troubleshoot integrations between Salesforce and third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and platform events.

• Translate user stories and acceptance criteria into scalable technical solutions while collaborating with Business Analysts and Team Leads to clarify requirements.

• Maintain high code quality through peer reviews, adherence to coding standards, Git version control, and CI/CD deployment practices.

• Manage deployments across Salesforce environments following established release management processes.

• Investigate and resolve defects, perform root cause analysis, and provide ongoing production support.

• Maintain technical documentation covering custom development, integrations, and Salesforce data model changes.

• Monitor Salesforce governor limits, API usage, and platform performance, proactively identifying scalability risks.

• Mentor junior developers through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and technical guidance.

• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.

What You Need:

Non-negotiables

• At least 4 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, and Flows.

• Strong understanding of the Salesforce data model, security model, sharing rules, profiles, permission sets, and governor limits.

• Demonstrated experience owning technical design and end-to-end delivery of Salesforce features.

• Experience using Git version control and CI/CD deployment pipelines.

• Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems through REST and SOAP APIs.

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with Australia-based stakeholders across multiple time zones.

Preferred skills/expertise

• Salesforce Platform Developer I or Platform Developer II certification.

• Experience implementing or supporting Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud solutions.

• Familiarity with middleware and integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar technologies.

• Previous experience mentoring junior Salesforce developers.

• Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

• Prior experience supporting Australian clients as part of an offshore development team.
