Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to design, develop, and optimize Salesforce solutions in a hybrid setup at Mall of Asia, Pasay City. You will implement Apex, LWC, and declarative tools, while guiding best practices and CI/CD deployments across environments.

You will collaborate with local and Australia-based stakeholders, maintain integrations via REST/SOAP, and mentor junior developers in an Agile team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• Proficient in Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, and Flows.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems via REST/SOAP.
• Strong English communication with Australia-based stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and unit test Apex classes, Triggers, LWC, Visualforce, and declarative solutions.
• Own the technical design of Salesforce features, evaluating declarative vs custom development.
• Build and maintain Salesforce automation using Flows, validation rules, and Process Builder migrations.
• Develop, support, and troubleshoot integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and platform events.
• Translate user stories into scalable solutions with Business Analysts and Team Leads.
• Maintain high code quality through peer reviews, coding standards, Git, and CI/CD deployments.
• Manage deployments across Salesforce environments following release processes.
• Investigate defects, perform root cause analysis, and provide production support.
• Maintain technical documentation for custom development, integrations, and data model changes.
• Monitor governor limits, API usage, and performance to identify scalability risks.
• Mentor junior developers via code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and backlog refinement.

Your Role

• Design, develop, and unit test Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce pages, and declarative Salesforce solutions.
• Own the technical design of Salesforce features by evaluating declarative versus custom development approaches while considering platform limitations and scalability.
• Build and maintain Salesforce automation using Flows, validation rules, page layouts, permission sets, and Process Builder migrations.
• Develop, support, and troubleshoot integrations between Salesforce and third‑party systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and platform events.
• Translate user stories and acceptance criteria into scalable technical solutions while collaborating with Business Analysts and Team Leads to clarify requirements.
• Maintain high code quality through peer reviews, adherence to coding standards, Git version control, and CI/CD deployment practices.
• Manage deployments across Salesforce environments following established release management processes.
• Investigate and resolve defects, perform root cause analysis, and provide ongoing production support.
• Maintain technical documentation covering custom development, integrations, and Salesforce data model changes.
• Monitor Salesforce governor limits, API usage, and platform performance, proactively identifying scalability risks.
• Mentor junior developers through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and technical guidance.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand‑ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• At least 4 years of hands‑on Salesforce development experience using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, and Flows.
• Strong understanding of the Salesforce data model, security model, sharing rules, profiles, permission sets, and governor limits.
• Demonstrated experience owning technical design and end‑to‑end delivery of Salesforce features.
• Experience using Git version control and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems through REST and SOAP APIs.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with Australia‑based stakeholders across multiple time zones.

Preferred Skills / Expertise

• Salesforce Platform Developer I or Platform Developer II certification.
• Experience implementing or supporting Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud solutions.
• Familiarity with middleware and integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar technologies.
• Previous experience mentoring junior Salesforce developers.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Prior experience supporting Australian clients as part of an offshore development team.
