Job summary

Inchcape is seeking an experienced accounting professional to mentor Analysts and support RTR leadership in Manila. You will monitor month-end closings, ensure IFRS and local GAAP compliance, and drive KPI-based improvements while contributing to automation and audit readiness.

Required: 3–5 years in accounting, strong Excel and ERP experience (SAP FI-GL, BlackLine); CPA/ACCA/CIMA desirable. This role offers a collaborative, growth-oriented environment in a global automotive distributor.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in accounting, preferably RTR in shared services or corporate finance.
• Solid technical accounting knowledge (IFRS & local GAAP) and month-end close experience.
• Experience with ERP GL modules (SAP FI-GL preferred) and reconciliation tools (BlackLine).
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented, able to explain accounting issues to non-accountants.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot, lookups); Power BI or reporting tools helpful.
• Customer service mindset and solid problem-solving ability.
• CPA/ACCA/CIMA desirable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical mentor to Analysts, guiding accounting processes.
• Support Team Leader in performance coaching for RTR team.
• Monitor closing activities to meet deadlines.
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and internal policies.
• Analyze KPIs and identify performance improvement areas.
• Participate in automation and reporting enhancement initiatives.
• Prepare audit schedules and respond to audit requests.
