Job summary

Finastra in Manila is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (RPGLE) to design, develop, and maintain high-quality financial software. You will work with cross-functional teams on core Lending, Payments, and Universal Banking platforms.

The role requires 5+ years in RPG/LE, Java web experience, and familiarity with RESTful APIs, HTML, and CSS. You will contribute to software lifecycle processes and drive quality through collaboration and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years RPG/LE software development experience including design and development.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience with Java web development is a must.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, HTML, CSS preferred.
• Financial industry experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participates in software design meetings and analyzes user needs to determine technical requirements.
• Designs and develops high-quality code.
• Tests, debugs, analyzes and fixes application problems.
• Works with stakeholders to fix issues promptly.
• Supports product releases and resolves program issues.
• Embed AI into project delivery to improve productivity and decision quality.
