Finastra in Manila is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (RPGLE) to design, develop, and maintain high-quality financial software. You will work with cross-functional teams on core Lending, Payments, and Universal Banking platforms.

The role requires 5+ years in RPG/LE, Java web experience, and familiarity with RESTful APIs, HTML, and CSS. You will contribute to software lifecycle processes and drive quality through collaboration and continuous improvement.

This position is located in Manila**.** **Responsibilities & Deliverables:** Your deliverables as a **Senior Software Engineer** will include, but are not limited to, the following:· Participates in software design meetings and analyzes user needs to determine technical requirements.· Designs and develops high-quality code.· Tests, debugs, analyzes and fixes application problems/issues. · Works closely with stakeholders to fix issues in a timely fashion.· Follows the software development life cycle process.· Interacts with internal stakeholders to support product releases and/or resolve program problems.· Embed AI into project delivery to drive productivity, automate routine activities, strengthen decision quality through trusted data, and deliver continuous process improvement while applying appropriate human judgement.· Other duties and projects as assigned.**Required Experience:**· **5+** years RPG/LE software development experience including design and development.· Must be a bachelor’s degree graduate.· Experience with Java web development is a must.· Familiarity with RESTful APIs, HTML, CSS preferred.· Financial industry experience preferred.· Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.· Knowledge of software development methodologies and the software development life cycle.· Ability to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity independently.· Strong technical, analytical, and development skills.· Intermediate knowledge of required programming languages.· Effective verbal and written communication skills; effective customer service skills.· Ability to work independently or within a team environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
