Job summary

Aurecon Philippines is seeking a Senior Civil Designer to support the design and delivery of transport infrastructure projects. You will contribute to multidisciplinary road projects from tender through detail design, and work with project teams to address client and community needs.

The role centers on developing 3D civil models and road geometry, preparing design plans and documentation, and ensuring practical, coordinated solutions that meet quality and schedule requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum eight years' experience.
• Knowledge of Australian Standards and industry design practices.
• Demonstrated experience in major roads projects.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design activities.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to review, verify and approve design outputs and models.
• Proactive mindset focused on quality, innovation and continuous improvement.
• Experience working on Australian states or local government transport projects.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage 3D civil models, including corridors, terrain models, alignments, profiles and templates.
• Develop road geometry, including horizontal and vertical alignments, intersections widening and earthworks.
• Prepare civil design plans, profiles, cross-sections and construction documentation.
• Work closely with engineers and project managers to deliver coordinated, construction-ready civil designs.
• Support project delivery in line with quality, budget and schedule requirements.
• Produce and manage quantity take-offs and schedules from the 3D model.
• Prepare technical reports, design documentation and client presentations.
• Must be able to work autonomously with minimal support from engineers and other designers.
