Job summary

Credit Guarantee and Investment Facility (CGIF) is seeking a Senior Risk Analytics Officer to lead analytics, risk reporting, and governance. You will leverage data science and finance expertise to support risk management activities and policy development.

The role requires strong IFRS 9 and Basel II knowledge, fluency in English, and experience with Power BI, R, Python, SQL, and VBA. You will report to the Head of Credit Risk and contribute to governance across systems and data.

Qualifications

5–10 years of experience in risk analytics.
Subject matter expertise in IFRS 9 expected credit loss models and Basel II capital requirements.
Proficient in data processing and visualization platforms such as Power BI, VBA, R, Python, SQL.
Fluent in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

Lead management of CGIF’s credit portfolio through data analytics and risk reporting.
Develop and maintain analytics workflow for reports and metrics (e.g., IFRS9 ECL, CAR).
Review and strengthen risk management policies and data governance.
Project risk and financial metrics using CGIF’s projection model and enhance it over time.
Conduct stress testing of key risk metrics and formulate stress scenarios.
Generate data-driven macroeconomic forecasts and ECL assumptions.
Maintain risk tools, including externally procured scorecards.
Take on additional projects to broaden impact.
