Job summary

The Great Eastern Life Assurance Company Limited is seeking an Investment Analytics professional to generate timely performance and risk reports, surface portfolio risks, and translate complex data into actionable insights. You will partner with portfolio managers, develop analytics tools, and drive data-driven decision-making across the investment process.

Ideal candidates have 4–6 years of experience, strong knowledge of fixed income and equity analytics, and proficiency with Excel VBA, R

Qualifications

Degree in Finance, Economics or related discipline.
Knowledge of performance returns calculation methodologies.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency with Excel, Bloomberg and risk analytics tools.

Responsibilities

Ensure timely generation and delivery of performance and risk reporting to senior management and internal stakeholders.
Proactively surface unintended portfolio risk and engage asset owners on mitigating measures.
Communicate insights on investment performance and deviations from benchmarks to internal stakeholders.
Partner with portfolio managers to transform portfolio data into meaningful insights and support investment research.
Develop analytics tools to accelerate insight generation, reporting and scenario analysis.
Advance AI integration in portfolio management and reporting processes to enhance research and monitoring.
Use generative AI and advanced analytics to speed up insight generation and reporting.
Facilitate CIO's monthly portfolio review meetings with asset heads.
Highlight potential concerns/risks and share best risk management practices.
