Job summary

CGIF is seeking a Senior Risk Analytics Officer to lead data analytics for risk management, reporting, and modeling. The role focuses on IFRS 9 ECL, capital adequacy, and data governance, leveraging Power BI, R, Python, SQL, and VBA to deliver insightful risk insights.

The candidate will drive policy reviews, enhance risk models, and support stress testing, with a strong emphasis on data accuracy and cross-functional collaboration across finance and risk teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a quantitative field (statistics, math, finance, economics, data science, CS).
• 5–10 years in risk and/or data analytics, preferably in financial institutions or related entities.
• Proficiency with Power BI, VBA, R, Python, SQL and similar tools.
• Fluent in English; strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead management of CGIF's credit portfolio through data analytics, ensuring risk limits are met.
• Develop and maintain analytics workflow for IFRS 9 ECL, CAR, and related reports using data tools.
• Review and strengthen risk management policies, credit processes, and data governance guidelines.
• Project risk and financial metrics using CGIF's projection model and enhance it over time.
• Conduct stress testing and develop macroeconomic projections and ECL assumptions.
• Implement data governance standards for CGIF's credit data warehouse and improve data quality.
• Maintain risk management tools, including externally procured credit rating scorecards.
• Take on additional projects to broaden impact across the organization.
