Job summary

CGP Personnel is seeking a Senior Executive / Assistant Manager, Research on a 1-year contract in the Philippines. The role covers both qualitative and quantitative research, managing projects from planning to final report, coordinating fieldwork, and turning findings into actionable insights.

You’ll prepare questionnaires, plan timelines, oversee vendors, analyse data with Excel/PowerPoint, and guide junior team members. Strong communication and project-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in any discipline.
• Must have at least 4 years of experience.
• Experience in market research, social research, policy research, industry research, or similar fields.
• Good understanding of both qualitative and quantitative research.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good project management and coordination skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage projects independently.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (PivotTables and data visualisation).
• Experience with SPSS, Python, R, SQL, or other research/analytics tools is a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage research projects from planning to final report.
• Conduct background research and literature reviews.
• Prepare questionnaires, discussion guides, and research materials.
• Plan research timelines, sample sizes, resources, and fieldwork.
• Coordinate with research vendors and local/international partners.
• Track project progress and ensure deadlines are met.
• Clean and organise data for analysis.
• Analyse quantitative data.
• Identify key trends, findings, and insights.
• Turn research findings into clear recommendations and actionable insights.
• Prepare reports, presentations, charts, and data visualisations.
• Communicate with stakeholders and provide project updates.
• Assistant Manager: Guide and review the work of junior team members.
