Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 10–15 years of progressive banking experience with an international bank.
• Proven experience in relationship management, origination, corporate lending and credit analysis.
• Strong sector coverage in energy, renewable energy, and infrastructure.

Job description

As a Senior Relationship Manager, you will lead the origination, management, and expansion of strategic relationships with large Philippine corporates, multinational corporations, infrastructure sponsors, and energy-sector clients. You will deliver sustainable revenue growth across lending, transaction banking, trade finance, treasury, project finance, syndicated loans, capital markets, and sustainable finance, while maintaining strong credit quality, regulatory compliance, and risk discipline.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Develop and execute strategic client coverage plans for large corporates, multinational companies, infrastructure sponsors, and energy-sector clients.
• Drive business origination, relationship expansion, and cross-selling across lending, transaction banking, treasury, project finance, and capital markets solutions.
• Take direct accountability for revenue growth, profitability, portfolio quality, pipeline management, and successful deal execution.
• Build strong relationships with C-suite executives, project sponsors, investors, advisers, government-linked entities, regulators, and regional banking partners.
• Identify and develop new-to-bank opportunities that strengthen the Bank's franchise and market position.
• Lead coverage and origination efforts within the energy, renewable energy, power, utilities, and infrastructure sectors.
• Drive financing, advisory, project finance, and sustainable finance opportunities for clients and project sponsors.
• Provide sector expertise, portfolio oversight, and transaction leadership while partnering with internal stakeholders to achieve profitable growth and successful deal execution.
• Assume primary responsibility for the credit risk management of assigned client relationships, including credit origination, risk assessment, transaction structuring, and ongoing portfolio monitoring.
• Monitor client performance and covenant compliance, identify emerging credit risks, and recommend appropriate risk‑mitigation measures.
• Collaborate with Credit, Risk Management, Legal, Compliance, Treasury, and other stakeholders to support sound credit decisions and risk‑adjusted profitability.
• Maintain strong controls over client onboarding, due diligence, and transaction activities while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Identify and elevate compliance, operational, reputational, and conduct risks, and support audits, regulatory examinations, and remediation initiatives.
• Promote a culture of integrity, accountability, sound governance, and responsible risk management.

What Sets You Apart

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Postgraduate education, professional qualifications, or relevant project finance certifications are an advantage.
• At least 10–15 years of progressive banking experience with an international bank.
• Proven experience in relationship management, business origination, corporate lending, credit analysis, transaction banking, project finance, and capital markets.
• Strong and demonstrable sector coverage experience in energy, renewable energy, and infrastructure.
