The Relationship Manager under the Institutional Banking Group is responsible for managing and growing high-value relationships with large corporate clients, conglomerates, and institutional entities. This role focuses on deal origination, portfolio strategy, structured debt, trade finance, and treasury cross-selling to drive group revenue and achieve ambitious business targets.
Institutional Business Origination: Proactively solicit, structure, and originate large-scale lending, trade, and cash management deals across assigned prospective and existing institutional accounts.
Strategic Relationship & Portfolio Management: Act as the primary financial advisor for top-tier corporate clients, executing customized growth and profitability strategies for the assigned IBG portfolio.
Financial Analysis & Solution Design: Present tailored institutional banking solutions, credit packages, and cross-sell treasury/investment products to key c-suite executives and decision-makers.
Deal Structuring & Risk Management: Conduct deep credit assessments, analyze corporate financial statements, and collaborate with Risk and Legal teams to structure sound credit facilities.
Compliance & Governance: Ensure strict adherence to internal credit guidelines, regulatory mandates, and anti-money laundering (AML) protocols.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accountancy, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of four (4) years in client acquisition, corporate/institutional credit, investment banking, or account management within an institutional banking setup.
Technical Knowledge: Solid background in financial analysis, credit evaluation, and corporate/institutional debt structuring.
High-level negotiation, presentation, and executive-communication skills.
Deep understanding of institutional financial products
Proven track record in target-driven environments and managing complex, multi-layered institutional stakeholder accounts.
