Job summary

Deutsche Bank AG in Manila is seeking an Investment Banking - Reference Data Analyst (Mandarin & Japanese Speaker) to manage and validate critical reference data. You will handle SSIs setup, ensure regulatory-compliant data practices, and collaborate with stakeholders to improve data efficiency and risk controls.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 1–3 years in corporate banking, with fluency in Mandarin and Japanese.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant field.
• 1 to 3 years of work experience in corporate Banking.
• Basic knowledge of Banking operations/Financial Products (Fixed income cash & derivatives, Futures, Options, Swaps).
• Mandarin and Japanese language proficiency (verbal and written).
• Microsoft Office/Suite proficient (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Good communication skills and ability to interact with Middle Office/Clients for timely processing of life cycle events.
• Able to work in fast-paced environment and adapt to change.
• Will follow APAC work hours (9AM-6PM, M-F).

Responsibilities

• Data input & approval of Standard Settlement Instructions in downstream system.
• Ensuring processing guidelines (KOP) are followed with diligence.
• Monitoring mailboxes for processing and queries.
• Participating in employee engagement activities and regular team huddles.
• Ensuring mandatory training courses are completed on time.
• Plan leaves/breaks in line with process deliverables and update HR-Workday.
• Meet productivity targets and ensure 2 eye processing with 100% accuracy.
• Identify automation opportunities and reduce manual intervention.
• Work toward finding process gaps and remediation ideas.
