Job summary

Arcadis is recruiting a Senior Engineer – Rail Structures to work on UK projects, including rail bridges and related structures. The role requires leadership of engineering and BIM teams, with strong design and analytical skills, and experience in British Standards and Eurocodes.

Qualifications

• BE (Civil) and MTech in Structures with 10+ years of bridge design consulting experience.
• Chartered Engineer with ICE or IStructE, or actively pursuing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee a team of engineers and BIM technicians on complex projects.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and define task scope with lead regions.
• Understand codes/standards and develop solutions from first principles.
• Demonstrate strong design techniques, BIM/digital delivery and presentation.
• Evaluate options and develop preliminary and detailed designs for permanent/temporary works.
