Job summary

Coherent Corp. in the Philippines is hiring a Quality Assurance Lead to oversee IQA, IPQA, and OQA processes in a fast-moving semiconductor manufacturing environment.

You will lead audits, implement 8D problem solving, and drive continuous improvements across cross-functional teams while ensuring ISO 9001 compliance.

The role requires Engineering degree and 5+ years in electronics manufacturing; you will coordinate with Purchasing and Suppliers to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Engineering Course (Electronics or related field).
• At least 5 years of experience in Semiconductor or Electronics / Optoelectronics Industry.
• Experience on start-up manufacturing set-up.

Responsibilities

• Establish IQA controls and monitor leading indicators.
• Implement IQA inspection guidelines and sampling per AQL.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Suppliers for root cause actions.
• Lead process audits and drive corrective actions for quality improvements.
• Support OQA, IQA, and NCAs with timely feedback.
• Lead internal and supplier audits and ensure ISO 9001 compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement via 8D, 7 QC Tools, and SPC.
