Job summary

Aon is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join a high-performing delivery team building a core platform that streamlines Aon’s placement process. You will plan and execute tests, automate where possible, manage defects, and mentor juniors while collaborating across product, development and analytics to deliver quality releases.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and executing test plans based on product requirements.
• Experience with manual and automated testing.
• Ability to triage and track defects to resolution.
• Experience working in agile delivery environments.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote quality practices.

Responsibilities

• Testing Planning and Execution – develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases and scripts.
• Regressions – perform manual and automated regression testing for monthly releases.
• Automation – design, implement and maintain automated test scripts/frameworks.
• Defect Management – identify, document, triage and track defects.
• Collaboration – work with developers, product managers and analysts to ensure quality releases.
• Continuous Improvement – participate in retrospectives to improve test processes.
• Quality Metrics – help collect defect data and generate QA metrics.
• Mentorship – guide junior QA engineers and team members.
• Documentation – maintain clear test case and defect documentation.
