Responsibilities

• Plan and execute test plans, cases, and scripts from requirements.
• Run manual and automated regression tests for monthly releases.
• Design and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Identify, document, triage, and track defects with the delivery team.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and analysts on releases.
• Participate in Agile retrospectives to improve test processes.
• Collect defect data and generate QA quality metrics reports.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA engineers.
• Maintain clear, detailed documentation of test results and defects.

What The Day Will Look Like

• Testing Planning and Execution - Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases and test scripts based on product requirements and design specifications
• Regressions – Execute manual and automated regressions to ensure successful monthly releases
• Automation - Design, implement and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage
• Defect Management – Identify, document, triage and track defects and work with delivery team to resolve issues
• Collaboration – Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, technical business analyst to ensure high-quality product releases
• Continuous Improvement – participate in agile activities and retrospectives to identify improvements to test processes and methodologies
• Quality Metrics – Assist in the collection of defect related data and generation of QA quality metrics reports
• Mentorship – Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA engineers and team members
• Documentation – Maintain clear and detailed documentation of test cases, results and defect reports
