Job summary

Aon plc in Manila is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join a high-performing delivery team building a business critical platform supporting Aon's placement process. The role focuses on testing across planning, execution, and continuous improvement to ensure quality releases.

You will develop and execute test plans, run manual and automated tests, design frameworks, manage defects, and collaborate with developers, product managers, and analysts to deliver robust software.

Responsibilities

• Testing Planning and Execution - Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases and test scripts based on product requirements and design specifications
• Regressions - Execute manual and automated regressions to ensure successful monthly releases
• Automation - Design, implement and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage
• Defect Management - Identify, document, triage and track defects and work with delivery team to resolve issues
• Collaboration - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, technical business analyst to ensure high-quality product releases
• Continuous Improvement - participate in agile activities and retrospectives to identify improvements to test processes and methodologies
• Quality Metrics - Assist in the collection of defect related data and generation of QA quality metrics reports
• Mentorship - Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA engineers and team members
• Documentation - Maintain clear and detailed documentation of test cases, results and defect reports

What the day will look like
